A Look Back at 2017

Whoa. This year has flown by. I can’t believe the different transitions I’ve made this year, and the places I’ve been.

When I started 2017, I was in Toledo, Ohio, on tour. I got to try some delicious food at Tony Packos, a classic Toledo restaurant. I toured around the Midwest for a bit and got to see some great places and meet some cool people.

I ate at some wonderful restaurants, like this one in Richmond, and had a great time.

Then I moved back to San Antonio; I spent about 6 months there, exploring the town, and nearby cities I’d never thought to look at.

I moved into an apartment, and I drove my little car everywhere, even managing to get it stuck on the sand.

I grew, learned, changed. I fell in and out of love, and I made a lot of big decisions.

Then I left for another tour, and started traveling again. I met even more wonderful people, challenged myself in new ways, and learned more about myself. While I’m still recovering from a big loss in my life, I’m slowly learning how to be confident and joyful, and though I have to remind myself constantly, I’m getting better at stopping to drink in each moment.

I’m excited to see what 2018 will bring, and what new adventures I will have, but I’m most excited to put this year behind me and grow smarter, stronger, and kinder in 2018.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the privilege of being able to share my stories with you. I hope you like the stories I share, the videos I make, and the adventures that I create. I want to inspire you to take an adventure, say yes to new things, and challenge yourself as a person.

You only get one shot at this life, so I hope you make the most of it.
